Media Credential Application

Please read and accept the following media credential guidelines in order to begin the application process.

Media credentials are limited and not all requests will be approved. All applications must be submitted by August 5, 2011 and this is the only method of application.

Virgin Mobile Festival only grants credentials to members of the press who are on assignment from a qualified media outlet. Applications are reviewed carefully. Please provide as much information as possible regarding your outlet/assignment/purpose in attending.

If you are a freelance writer/photographer, your editor must send an assignment letter on the outlet's letterhead to press@virginmobilefestival.com (subject: Assignment Letter: Freelancer's Name). No freelance application will be considered without an assignment letter.

Virgin Mobile Festival is not in need of any festival photographers or videographers, so no need to contact us with regard to providing these staffed services.

Point-and-shoot cameras are not permitted in photo pits. Only credentialed photographers with SLR cameras will be permitted in the photo pits for each performance.

Photo passes are not available to college newspapers or website photographers. Access to past photo galleries are available on the Media Press Information page and photos will be uploaded live throughout the festival weekend for your use.

Media credentials provide access to only specified areas. A list of these areas will be provided to all approved media.

Credentialed media must be 18 years or older and must present valid photo ID at event.
