THE BEST WAY //
There are three Metro Subway stations in downtown Baltimore within walking distance of all major hotels, free parking at all stations outside downtown, and operating hours that work well with festival start and end times.
Take the Metro to the Rogers Avenue Metro Subway Station where shuttle buses are ready to take you to the show. The cost to ride the shuttle is $1.60, unless you are transferring from the Metro Subway, in which case we recommend you purchase a Day Pass for $3.50. The Day Pass will be good all day for your rides to and from the festival on the Metro and shuttle bus.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a short bus ride from Rogers Avenue Metro Subway Station to the concert site; however, there will be no shuttle busses running to and from the Cold Spring Light Rail Station this year. We do not recommend using the Light Rail because the hours of operation on Sunday do not work with festival start and end times (Light Rail stops running prior to the end of the festival on Sunday) and this year, there will be no shuttle service to and from the Light Rail.
AGAIN, VIRGIN MOBILE FESTIVAL ATTENDEES SHOULD USE METRO SUBWAY AND NOT LIGHT RAIL. THERE WILL BE NO SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE LIGHT RAIL THIS YEAR ONLY TO AND FROM THE ROGERS AVENUE METRO SUBWAY STATION.
For those coming from the west, park and ride at the Owings Mills, Old Court or Milford Mill Metro stops. There are over 5,000 combined parking spaces located at these stops, conveniently located right off the Baltimore Beltway.

WALKING //
Ok, so there are too many routes to provide a detailed list on this site, but our advice is to avoid major highways and if you're coming from the West Coast you better start soon!
SWIMMING //
Currently there is no direct water route to Pimlico Race Course.
However, if you are traveling overseas to attend Virgin Mobile Festival and you're an exceptionally strong swimmer, consider the idea of using the breast stroke to transport yourself from your flat in London to the festival.
